Army Driving and Maintenance Team

The AD&M Tm is an Army level standards organization based at the RCACS. It is composed of Armour members and conducts its duties across Canada and around the world. Its mission is to develop collective and individual driving and maintenance standards, in conjunction with other institutions, for Armour Fighting Vehicles across the army.


Tactics Troop

Tactics Troop is the RCACS standards organization and responsible for the Centre of Excellence responsibilities for all Crewman and Armour training. They perform the standards function for all tactics courses in the RCACS which includes liaison with course staff, approving schedules, monitoring training, maintenance of courseware and exam banks, actioning ECR points and assisting course staff as required with questions to the Training Plan (TP) or Qualification Standard (QS).

Standards Squadron’s Mission:

Standards Sqn will enable Armoured Corps individual training through the maintenance and monitoring of training standards, the modernization of training methodology and techniques, and the execution of Center of Excellence responsibilities.

Organization

Standards Squadron is comprised of a Squadron Headquarters with 3 Troops: Army Instructor in Gunnery Team (AIG Tm), Army Driving and Maintenance Team (AD&M Tm), and Tactics Troop.

Army Instructor in Gunnery Team

The AIG Tm is an Army level standards organization based at the RCACS. It is composed of Armoured and Infantry members and conducts its duties across Canada and around the world. Its mission is to develop collective and individual gunnery standards for mounted direct fire weapons system across the army.
